Traffic Tribunal Magistrate Domenic DiSandro III sentenced Jarred Lynch, son of prominent Democrat and attorney William Lynch, to eight months license suspension, 40 hours community service, fined him $300, ordered him to attend DWI school and pay more than $700 in court costs for refusing to submit to a chemical test during an incident that took place in October.

The incident involved an accident between Lynch an off-duty Pawtucket police sergeant. When police responded to the scene Lynch admitted to drinking beer at a concert earlier in the night but refused to take the chemical test.

At the request of a special prosecutor, Michael Feeney, who was called in to represent the city in the case, the charge of driving under the influence were dismissed. The refusal charge was initially dismissed but the Pawtucket Police re-filed the charge and the judge decided to let the case go forward.

After two days of testimony, DiSandro found that the testimony of Lynch was not credible, "the court considered Lynch's testimony in total and deemed it incredible due to the numerous and glaring inconsistencies. This testimony was changed numerous times. The state has successfully impeached Lynch's credibility."

DiSandro said the incident involved a motor vehicle accident that he deemed to be intentional. "I believe the incident was a result of road rage and I recognize that road rage does not happen in a vacuum," said DiSandro.

A Judge appointed by democrats finding another democrat guilty. Maybe there is hope for this state.
