A man was killed in an early morning accident on Wednesday on Route 95 south. Nishan Bodge, 28, lost control of his vehicle on the highway near Exit 6A Hopkins Hill Road around 2 a.m.
State Police Sergeant Frank Castellone says the victim was not wearing his seatbelt and speed may have been a factor. Basically what happened is the vehicle was travelling at what we believe is a high rate of speed south bound when he exited the roadway onto the grassy median came back across the highway and his vehicle struck a light pole and then came in contact with the guardrail head-on."
Bodge was taken to Kent County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
