School Committee votes to start classes late once a month

Students in Portsmouth Schools will now get to sleep in one day a month.

The Portsmouth School Committee voted to allow classes to start late on the second Wednesday of each month to allow teachers time for professional development.

Classes will begin an hour and fifteen minutes late once a month starting next fall.

WOW. Again, the teachers of America prove they could care less about educating children. Another way the public sector unions piss on the working class and the Democrats continue to allow the pissing to continue. If you are working class, you are being pissed on by the public sector unions. This is just another prime example of why we need Governor Walker in our state! Someone who makes the unions stop pissing on the working class! Please Gov. Walker we need your help desperately in RI.

Why not have those teachers who are ripping the taxpayers off with their benes and retirement start an hour earlier so the students dont miss any time.

Kids will be going to bed 1:15 later on the second Tuesday of every school month.
