Update: Police identify men killed in Fall River accident

Fall River police responded to the incident just after 2 a.m. and found a 2007 Chrysler Sebring in the front yard of 1033 Robeson Street.
The vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed on Robeson street when it lost control striking a utility pole and a traffic light pole. Both pole broke on impact and the care continue on plowing into a fence before it came to a stop.
The driver and passenger were pronounced dead on scene. Thursday afternoon, police identified Dominick Shaw, 25 of Freetown as the operator, and Kevin Amaral, 27, of Fall River as the passenger.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
