Promoting in Providence:  Rapper/producer Lupe Fiasco was in East Providence on Monday paying Hot106 a visit. He’s currently doing the promo rounds for his upcoming album Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1, releasing September 25th. One Tree Hill alum Jana Kramer was in Providence at another local radio station promoting her new album as well. 

America’s Cup(s):  Newport is home to some of Rhode Island’s most beautiful secret locations and this week was no exception.    According to The Newport Buzz, director Michael Bay (Transformers) shot a commercial featuring Victoria’s Secret models at various City by the Sea locations like The Elms, Marble House and Rosecliff.  (To the Left Victoria's Secret Models in Newport. Toddlers, Tiaras and Tea:  Coventry’s Gigi’s Glitzy Boutique welcomed two pint sized celebs on Friday.   Rhode Island’s own Isabella Barrett, 5 and Eden Woods, 7 who are both well known for their appearances on TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras hosted the, “Glitzy Tea Party.”  The little ladies also joined WPRO’s John DePetro on Wednesday to promote the, "Stop, Think, Feel" anti-bullying event held on Wednesday night.

Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio returned to his home state on Monday to promote his new pre-mixed cocktail Remix at Haxton Liquors in Warwick.  "The Pauly D Project" co-star Jerry Gialanella was on-hand as well. 

Rhode Islanders wanted for Reality TV:  Producers of ABC’s top rated show, “Wife Swap” are searching Providence and the surrounding area for families to appear on their very own episode of the popular show. The premise of “Wife Swap” is that the mother from each household swaps places for one week to experience how another amily lives.
