Remix hits Rhody:  Hundreds lined up to get, “Remixed” by Johnston native and MTV reality star Paul “Pauly D”  DelVecchio on Monday afternoon at Haxton Liquors in Warwick.  Fellow PDP cast member Jerry Gialanella was on-site as well.    DelVecchio’s REMIX is a pre-mixed cocktail with flavors that include Strawberry HOLLA-peno, OYE Mojito, Yeah YUM Berry and STARfruit.  Proving that he’s more than just a bronzed face and a blowout this week Forbes reported that DelVecchio earned $11 million last year, making him the seventh highest-paid DJ in the world.  Yeah. Brian Dennehy does Providence:  Tony and Golden Globe award winner Brian Dennehy and well-known Trinity Actor Fred Sullivan Jr. brought in a packed house to Trinity Rep's Dowling Theatre on Monday night July 30^th.  The talented twosome delighted audiences by live-acting out readings of the great playwright O'Neill.   I was lucky enough to have a pre-show chat with Brian a few days previous to the show.  Click here for the podcast.  (to the right: Photo caption:  Bekah with Brian Dennehy atTrinity Rep)

Diary of a Scituate Kid:  Teen actor and Scituate native Robert Capron comes alive on the big screen once again in, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid:  Dog Days”  opening on Friday August 3^rd.  Capron, whose past credits include, “The Three Stooges” and the first two Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies plays Rowley Jefferson. 

Snoop Lion at Lupo’s:  Rapper Snoop Dogg- er Lion performed live at Lupo’s in Downtown Providence on Tuesday July 31^st.  Snoop also made some news this week for saying he would like to be the 4^th judge on, “American Idol.”
