The four Democrats in the Rhode Island Congressional delegation weighed in Monday on the fight over whether Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's paid income taxes, and the fundraising battle between Romney and President Barack Obama.

Their comments came as Republican took aim at Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's statement on the floor of the Senate that an anonymous tipster claimed Romney had paid no federal income taxes for 10 years.  Republican National Party chairman Reince Priebus went so far as to call Reid a "dirty liar" on ABC's "This Week" program.

Meanwhile, latest campaign finance reports show Romney's campaign outpacing Obama's in July, Romney raising more than $101 million, while Obama's campaign said it raised $75 million.
