The David Cicilline Campaign is charging that the Doherty Campaign is sending spies to their headquarters and they caught one red handed.
In a video released by the Cicilline Campaign on YouTube an intern from the Doherty Campaign comes into the Cicilline headquarters trying to get campaign signs and materials- only problem? They were expecting him.
The 19-year-old Doherty Campaign intern called the Cicilline Headquarters from the Doherty Headquarters and asked if he could pick up supplies. When the intern arrived the Cicilline campaign caught him on film. The intern was speechless when asked why he called from the Doherty Campaign headquarters. Eric Hyers, Cicillines Campaign Manager is calling this dirty politics saying the move lacks integrity something Doherty campaigns on.
Hyers said, "This is such an important election for Rhode Island, and David is fighting for RI seniors, women, and middle class families. That is what we are focused on, while the Doherty campaign is spending time on dirty tricks. Rhode Islanders deserve better."
Ian Prior, Campaign Manager for the Doherty for Congress campaign said the intern acted on his own and his behavior is not "condoned by the campaign." He says the intern was suspended for five days because of his actions and he will not be returning to the campaign because he must return to school.

If that's the case how about holding Cicilline respnsible for the actions of his BROTHER....who cost Providence...under MAYOR Cicilline more than 250,000 dollars! THEN...he got a business license on release from PRISON and never paid the money back? Hmmmm? |
