
Sen. Reed joins effort to help seniors manage their medication

Nowadays, theres so many, not just seniors, but people that are taking multiple medications. Sometimes theyre getting it from one specialists and then theyll get a prescription from another specialist and weve got to be able to coordinate that, said Reed.
According to the Script Your Future website, nearly 3 out of 4 Americans dont take their medication as directed, resulting in serious health consequences. The program offers tools to help people manage their medication and teaches them how to talk to their doctors about their medicine. Senator Reed says this is helpful for everyone.
Its there to make sure the treatment that theyre getting, the prescriptions theyre getting are being used effectively and that they know where they can pick up the phone and call and say I have a question, and get the questioned answered, said Reed.

This is literally inconceivable that Reed would be pathetically engaged in this sort of initiative. So much for solving our fiscal woes... the nation is about to fall off a fiscal cliff driven by 15 trillion in debt and this bozo is talking about taking pills with Granny... unbelievable... why does RI settle for such "little" men? |
