Dan Yorke has been a professional talk show host for twenty five years and has been hosting the afternoon drive program at WPRO since November 1999.
He has been named to the prestigious Talkers Magazine Heavy Hundred list for the last nine straight years and has two Associated Press "Best Talk Show" awards.
The Dan Yorke Show was recently named "Best Talk Show" for 2007 in Rhode Island Monthly Magazine.
Dan lives in Cumberland with his wife and daughter where he is active in his local church parish and the community volunteering for various civic projects.
Born in Flushing, New York, Dan grew up in the New York tri-state area. He considers himself a New Jersey guy and is quite at home with Rhode Island which he considers "North Jersey".
Dan is an avid golfer and huge Yankee/Giant fan and he thanks the Southern New England audience for not holding that against him.
